My name is Bill, and this is my website!

I named it after the Hand On Wall Rule for finding one's way out of a maze:

If the maze is simply connected, ... then by keeping one hand in contact with one wall of the maze the solver is guaranteed not to get lost and will reach a different exit if there is one.

So why a maze? Well, I've been known to overthink things and after doing this for a few hours, the expression "getting lost in thought" starts to feel pretty real. I built this site to share blog posts and tools that help find my way out of these situations, all hand-crafted to offset the influence of AI one word at a time.
